As Big Brother 9 approaches we learn more about each particular contestant. This seasons break-out ‘freak show’ is none-other-than James Zinkand.

Initially we reported about Zinkand’s crazy antics in participation with his YouTube movie “Pink Bus”. A Jackass style compilation of crazy stunts and immature antics.

These antics are nothing new. Five years ago Zinkand was involved in an incident that left a friend of his critically injured. The article refers to Zinkand as, “a Sarasota High School dropout.” According the legend, him and his friends were watching (and recording) another 18-year-old friend as he jumped from the roof of a five story condominium into the pool below. However; instead of landing into the pool he missed and his legs smashed against the concrete before eventually landing in the pool.

He suffered multiple fractures in each leg.

Zinkand’s official CBS.com profile reads:

“[Zinkand] grew up in a broken home and had to learn to be different to get the attention he needed from others. He was the ‘freak’ in high school who wore costumes to school when it wasn’t even Halloween.”

A good friend of James‘ said in retort:

“I do not like how they are saying he is from a broken home, because he is not from a broken home — a single- parent home, but not broken.”

I thought that was the definition of a broken home…

James is currently attempting to bike around the country on $100 in what he calls the “WorldRider” tour. I’m not quite sure how that’s considered a ‘world’ tour since he hasn’t managed to venture out of a single country, but… Zinkand seems to be taking time off from all of this to join the cast of the new Big Brother. Where he kindly threatens:

“Maybe, after week six, I’m just going to … be naked… What are they gonna do?”
